These terms govern your use of Host Perch. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Host Perch provides a digital guidebook, an AI assistant that answers guest questions from content you supply, calendar syncing, and optional guest upsell offers. Features may change as the product evolves.

Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you publish in your guidebook.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must have the right to use any photos, videos, and text you upload.

AI answers

The AI co-host generates answers from the content you provide. It can make mistakes. You are responsible for the accuracy of your guidebook content, and we recommend reviewing the questions log. Host Perch is not liable for losses arising from an incorrect or incomplete AI answer. For safety-critical matters (medical emergencies, fire, gas, security), guests should always call local emergency services.

Payments & subscriptions

  • The host subscription is billed monthly. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the paid period.
  • Guest upsell payments (e.g. extra nights) are processed through Stripe. You are responsible for honoring offers your guests purchase and for blocking the corresponding dates on your booking platform.
  • Payment processing fees are set by Stripe.

Guest messaging

When you enable SMS features, you confirm you have a lawful basis to message your guests. You are responsible for compliance with applicable messaging and consent laws in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Host Perch to publish unlawful content, infringe others’ rights, or send spam. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers & liability

Host Perch is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
